Monday, September 5

Well, happy monday to you too!

So I am going to change the name of my blog, because I feel like this new name is more... let's say.. me. Ha! Plus, I'm going to start selling stuff on Etsy (soon enough) and I say that it's just about perfect..

So.. Since I have been away so long, I am starting a new job tomorrow at the coffee roasting company, and might I say I am elated! I know I'm just going to be working at a desk talking to people on the phone (customer service), but I just don't care, I love coffee so much that sitting there smelling that sweet aroma just makes me happy.

And for the main attraction...
I wish I knew where I found this at, because it's just a wonderful display of feather.
Collecting is my biggest downfall, I just don't have enough room for it all!

But, the good thing is me and D (my man) are looking for lofts to live in. YAY!
They're a bit far from my work, but I don't mind the drive, plus it's about time D is closer to his work. I'm willing to sacrifice some things to be in an adorable loft!

Onto other obsessions, I made my first zippy pouch, it's not that great seeing as though it was my first one.. But practice makes perfect! I'm sending it with my swap to Lexidh in Norway and I can't wait for her to get it! I'll post a picture when my camera gets charged.

To send you off for the day..
Again, can't remember where I found it.
But collections! Ah!

Pottery, goodies, & foodies

Well good mornin'!

So I really wanted to give my Dad some props here, he does some really awesome pottery.
He makes big pots, small pots, colorful pots & decorated ones too. He can also make custom thrown pottery to your liking. I got his Etsy site up, but nothing in on for sale yet, that will be happening shortly, so I will post on here when it gets up and a runnin'!

Aren't they just magical? He has some mega talent (he also is a cook, makes soap, quilts, draws, plays guitar - since he was 14, and so many other things) I have a jack of all trades for a father, and of course I have acquired none of it, just my luck.

Wow.. This is picturetastic!

So I was perusing the wide array of handmade goodness of Etsy and I stumbled on a few items that caught my eyes:
A Dream by TheFloralPress

Heart to Heart by JayFroggy

Wood & Swarovski by woodgenie

Emergence 4 by TBwoodturning

I hope this inspires you.
